Our Leads

FOUNDER & LAY COUNSELLING LEAD
A Clinical Psychologist and DPhil student at Oxford, Bomikazi specialises in trauma and community violence. Her work spans clinical practice, research, and advocacy to improve access to mental health care in South Africa and beyond.

TRUSTEE AND STRATEGIC FUNDING DIRECTOR
Lucca holds an MPhil in Public Mental Health from UCT and leads income generation at the British Red Cross. Her work focuses on recovery for women survivors of violence and resilience in crisis-affected communities.

SECRETARY & SCHOOL BASED PROGRAM LEAD
Nwabisa is a neuropsychologist passionate about brain health and cultural neuroscience. With experience in clinical practice, research, and teaching, she bridges science and community. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Neuroethics at UCT.

TREASURER & VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR
Ntokozo is a trained social worker transitioning into Monitoring & Evaluation. She brings a data-informed, people-centred approach to programme development and is passionate about enhancing community services through evidence-based strategies.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH & SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
Samkelisiwe is a Clinical Psychologist working in student support at NWU. She provides compassionate, client-centred care for a range of psychological concerns, and is committed to promoting emotional resilience and well-being.

MONITORING & EVALUATION SPECIALIST
Cebokazi is a Clinical Psychologist and PhD candidate at UCT developing PTSD interventions for adolescents. She specialises in trauma, teaching, and quality assurance in mental health care.






Our Supervisors

Ntombi is a Counselling Psychologist (MA Counselling-based Psychology WITS) focused on youth empowerment and community wellness. She offers therapy, mentorship, and mental health education through a client-centred, holistic lens.

Kylah is a Registered Counsellor passionate about creative therapeutic methods, particularly with neurodivergent youth. She supports psychology students and works across the education, NGO, and private sectors.

Absalom is a Registered Counsellor and co-founder of Baloyi, Legodi and Malele (BLM) Counsellors. He offers CBT and mindfulness-based support to diverse clients and is dedicated to increasing access to quality mental health care.



Our Lay Counsellors

Basetsana is a Psychology Honours graduate with a strong academic record and a passion for lifelong learning. She seeks to apply her knowledge to support individuals’ mental well-being.

Paulina graduated cum laude with her Psychology Honours and is dedicated to increasing mental health accessibility in rural, Black communities. She provides warm, empathetic support and strives to create joyful, healing spaces.

Rhoda believes in holistic mental health care and wants to help people feel seen, understood, and emotionally supported. She is passionate about guiding others toward healthier emotional lives.

Joshua holds an Honours in Psychology and is passionate about creating inclusive, thoughtful spaces for healing. He believes in making mental health services more accessible and reflective of people’s lived experiences.

Sisipho completed her psychology honours at the University of Fort Hare and is driven to offer safe, non-judgemental support. She aims to develop her clinical skills and eventually become a Clinical Psychologist.

Relebogile is a Psychology Honours graduate with mentoring experience and a focus on neuropsychology. She brings warmth, humour, and insight to her counselling, aiming to empower clients through education and care.

Noko, a Psychology Honours graduate and Master’s student at Wits, is committed to equitable mental healthcare. She values curiosity, care, and the uniqueness of each client in the therapeutic space.

With a strong foundation in Applied Psychology, Gontse Mashapa is dedicated to providing compassionate support and practical guidance as a lay counsellor, fostering positive mental health and personal growth.

Neo recently completed a Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Limpopo. Driven by compassion and empathy, he hopes to be a supportive presence for individuals navigating emotional difficulties.
